Network Managers and Engineers Define SDN as “A Road Trip without a Map"

Highlighted in the survey taken by over 240 network pros is continuing uncertainty surrounding the emerging Software-Defined Networks (SDN).

Study Highlights:

SDN adoption grows amidst lack of definition: One in five of the organizations surveyed plan to have deployed SDN by the end of 2014. At the same time, nearly 40 percent consider it to be undefinable.

40 Gb adoption grows: By 2015, 25 percent will have implemented 40 Gb data rates in their enterprise networks.

UC goes mainstream: Sixty-three percent of respondents have implemented videoconferencing, compared with only a quarter in 2009.
